Saat ini Microsoft mempunyai lebih dari 70.000 pegawai di 102 negara dengan jumlah kapitalisasi pasar (nilai saham) 287 miliar dolar AS pada pertengahan Agustus 2005. Jika Anda jalan-jalan ke seluruh pelosok negeri Indonesia ini, dapat dipastikan komputernya 90 persen lebih tidak lepas dari sentuhan Microsoft.

Saya terkagum-kagum mendengar penuturan dari Mbak Anne Ahira saat menjadi pembicara di seminar TDA Online Marketing, Sabtu 5/8 di Pulogadung Trade Center kemarin. Kata-kata Anne Ahira mengalir deras dengan lancar menceritakan seluk beluk bisnis online yang dijalaninya. Pantaslah kalo Anne Ahira dijuluki Top 12 online marketer di dunia. Terlepas dari segala kontroversi yang mengikutinya, Anne Ahira Adalah sosok yang penuh komitmen dengan yang dilakukannya. Kita harus bangga punya sosok yang begitu disegani di jagad bisnis online dunia. Beruntung sekali TDA, dapat menghadirkan Anne Ahira. Yang jelas, ilmunya sangat berguna sekali bagi kita. Keberhasilan Anne Ahira di Indonesia terhitung langka. Gadis kelahiran November 1979 ini sebenarnya enam tahun yang lalu (tepatnya Desember 2001), apa “e-mail” itu pun, Anne Ahira sama sekali tidak tahu!
